Important information To 2017/18 PG Candidates On Screening Exam Date

Information For Postgraduate Candidates On 2017/2018 Session Admission Screening Exercise.

This is to inform prospective postgraduate students that the Computer Based Screening Test for admission into the 2017/2018 postgraduate program-mes of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) scheduled to hold
on 28th and 29th July 2017 has been postpone to 24th and 25th August 2017.
This is because the application period has extended to 23rd of August 2017.

Academic activities in the nation’s polytechnics will be disrupted from Monday, November 13, 2017 as the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) commence an indefinite strike to press government to meet their demands. The union accused the Ministry of Education of  failing to attend a conciliatory meeting called by the Ministry of Labour and Employment aimed at resolving their demands. WAEC HAS RELEASED RESULTS FOR 2016 NOV/DEC EXAMS

The West African Examinations Council,WAEC, has released the results of the 2016 Nov/Dec West African Senior School Certificate Examination, (WASSCE). The results were announced by the Head of National Office, Nigeria, Mr Olu Adenipekun yesterday in Lagos. According to him, “A total of 66,497 (Sixty Six Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety Seven) candidates, representing 38.50%, obtained credits in five (5) subjects and above, including English Language and Mathematics. “The percentage of candidates that obtained five (5) credits and above including English Language and Mathematics in the WASSCE for Private Candidates in 2014 and 2015 was 29.37% and 20.59% respectively. “19 (Nineteen) visually challenged candidates registered for and sat the examination in Nigeria.
