AKSU Direct Entry Admission Screening 2017/2018 Announced

  The management of Akwa Ibom State University has announced First ever Direct-Entry Admission Screening Exercise for 2017/2018 academic session. Direct Entry candidates who made Akwa Ibom State University their choice of institution and the general public are hereby notified that the Screening exercise for the 2017/2018 Direct Entry admission into first degree programmes of Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) will hold on Monday 9th October, 2017 at the Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden - Mkpat Enin L.G.A from 9am.     REGISTRATION FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE The University portal will be opened for registration from Monday, 25th September, 2017 and closed on Friday, 6th October, 2017 . UNIBEN Reschedules Post-UTME Screening Date 2017/2018

      This is to inform the general public that according to the information posted on the registration page, The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Admission Screening Exercise for 2017/2018 Academic Session; to be conducted by UNIBEN CONSULT NIGERIA LIMITED, is rescheduled to take place between 28th September 2017 and 10th October 2017 in designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus of the University. The Screening Exercise shall be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.   All candidates are expected to be seated,latest one hour before the stipulated time for their screening exercise. Candidates should go back on-line on 25th September, 2017 to check for their specific Day, Venue and Time for the Screening NOTE that GSM phones and calculators are NOT allowed. Application closes Midnight 23rd September 2017.

ESUT Postpones Post-UTME Screening Date 2017/2018

  This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) that the screening exercise has been postponed. The screening which was supposed to hold on 25th to 29th September 2017 has been postponed.   Meanwhile, the registration for the screening continues till further notice. Candidates who scored 180 and above and chose ESUT as their first choice can apply. Also candidates who did not choose the school but scored up to the cut-off mark can also apply. Candidates are to check the school's website and this blog regularly for updates on the new screening schedule.

UNILAG postpones Post-UTME test see new date

The University of Lagos (UNILAG)  has postponed its 2017/2018 Post-UTME Aptitude test previously scheduled for Monday 18 th to Friday 22, September. A new date according to an announcement by the institution on Tuesday will be on the University website. Candidates are to visit www.unilag.edu.ng for information on the new date. The postponement does not affect the on-going application for the Post-UTME screening which will close on Friday, September 15 as scheduled.

IMT Post-UTME 2017: Cut-off mark, Screening And Registration Details

Recuperating Vice President of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) Students Union, Miss Jacob Tosin Grace has given her own account of the violent clash at  the Central Executive Meeting of the Union on September 6th, 2017 during which she was alleged to have been involved in a fight with Social Director, Adedayo Emmanuel. Our correspondent who went to the Seventh Day hospital, Lagere where Grace is receiving treatment  met her in Ward four of the hospital, lying on the hospital bed with bruises on her face, breasts and supported with a Plaster of Paris. NUC approves new courses at Tech-U

  The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 14 programmes at the Technical University (Tech-U) in Ibadan, Oyo State capital. A statement by the Media Office said the approved courses would be run in the seven departments and two faculties of the institution. The two faculties are: Faculties of Natural Sciences and Engineering and Technology. The approved courses with full accreditation are: Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, Physics with Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Mathematics and Statistics.  Others are: Agricultural Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering as well as Petroleum Engineering. Fed. Govt urged to Extend school feeding to tertiary schools

Students of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) have urged the Federal Government to extend its free school feeding programme to institutions of higher learning. The students, under the aegis of Parrot Publicis Consultants of the UNILORIN Mass Communication Department, said the extension of the scheme would help cushion the adverse effect of the recession on students. Addressing reporters as part of activities to kick start the ‘my Indomie story campaign’ holding on the campus next week, the Chief Executive Officer, Parrot Publicis Consultants, Oladimeji Olushola, said the demand for the feeding scheme was in line with what used to be in the past. “We are also demanding that the school feeding programme be extended to higher institutions of learning as it was the case in the past when most of our today’s leaders were served with full chicken in their university days,” he said.
