UNN ADMISSION WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

JAMB has been written, results are out almost every candidates have his or her own result. One question every candidate have on his or her lip is what would be my school of choice cutoff mark, many has gone as far as google search just to know the cutoff mark of their verious school of choice.

Now lets talk about university of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), UNN is a federal university, some times i call it a community university in the sense that it is the only indigenous university in Nigeria , just like those secondary schools own by community which we refer to as community secondary school, if you would agree with me, the way things are been runed in such schools are quite different from how its been done in privates and other secondary schools which are not own by a community.

HOW UNN ADMISSION WORKS

After JAMB has released her results and taking statistics of students that applied for each school and their performance, JAMB will now have a board meeting with sterkholders and decide on the general cutoff make for universities, polytechnics and collage of education, school will now set the minium score which a candidate must have before he or she can partake in the screening process.
PLEASE NOTE: the general cutoff mark JAMB sets is not mandatry for every school to go with it, it is set to give schools a standared, ie. if JAMB says 180 for universities it means no university should go below 180.

When UNN gets the statistics, those in charge will call for a meeting seat look at the statistics and give the minium score a candidate must have to be considered for screening therein  a date will be fixed for the sales of form possibly fix date for exam (that is if there would be exam).

After the screening, results will be released, school will then set general school cutoff mark still base on candidates performance, there after departments will set their cutoff mark base on the performance of candidates that applied for such department and then send the list of candidates they wish to admit to the school admin block then the admin will send the names to JAMB for review, after JAMB review, JAMB will send back the names to school (UNN) there after UNN will upload this names on her school website www.unn.edu.ng for candidates to check their names and as time goes on more names will be released.

NOTE:
1. UNN do not have a fixed cutoff mark, it depends on performance of candidates.
2. You can only know UNN cutoff mark for a particular admission season when the screening form is been released for sales, therefore i will advise my reader to ignore all this cutoff mark they see online.
3. I will advise you do not use previous years cutoff mark to judge

Any question drop it here.
