2 Simple and Safe Tricks to Lower Your Blood Pressure In Few Weeks At Home

If you or anyone you know is diagnosed with HBP, then this article going to be a very important one.

HBP is a very serious condition and should be taken care of in time.

Blood pressure is the measure of the force of blood pushing against blood vessel walls.

The heart pumps blood into the arteries (blood vessels), which then carry the blood throughout the body. High blood pressure (a.k.a hypertension) is dangerous because it makes the heart work harder to pump blood out to the body and contributes to hardening of the arteries and most times lead to stroke, kidney disease, heart failure, etc.

Africa has the highest rate of high blood pressure globally at 46%, according to a new report by the World Health Organisation, which reveals that one in three African adults suffers from the condition..

With this alarming statistics, it is more likely than not that you or someone you know has high blood pressure and is taking medication to get it under control.  And while blood pressure medications are the best way to manage hypertension acutely, sometimes they come with unwelcomed side effects if you’re on them for the long haul. So, is it really worth it to trade one ailment for another?  Probably not!

This brings us to why you need to take a hard look at your eating habits and make smarter food choices so that we can achieve better results.

With the help the information I am about to share in this article, you can easily wean yourself off of your blood pressure medicine, following a dietary approach to stop your hypertension.

Here are the Do’s and Don’ts that you can do daily to help get your body back in balance and normalize your blood pressure in no time.

(1) Take These Everyday

Aloe vera:

Aloe vera  is a very good antioxidant… and this will  help you remove the  toxins caused by the that foods we eat. What this will do is prevent blood clot in the arteries as such ease the blood flow.

Garlic:

Clinical research has determined that garlic inhibits platelet aggregation (stickiness and clumping), which helps thin the blood much like aspirin or thrombolytic drugs do. In a double-blind research study, patients given garlic demonstrated thinner, more slippery blood when compared to matched controls.

Garlic reduces blood pressure, and also reduces fibrinogen (a blood clotting component), preventing the formation of blood clots. Clumped platelets can render you vulnerable to heart attack and cerebrovascular strokes, and garlic’s ability to reduce blood pressure helps lower the risk of these heart issues.

Omega-3:

This will help you improve blood circulations  and as well prevents and dissolves  blood-clots. And also help boost your immune system.

(2) Reduce Your Intake of These Two Foods

(1) Reduce your salt intake: The American Heart Association recommends that we reduce our daily salt intake to 1500 milligrams, which can be relatively easy if we ate less processed foods outside and inside of the home.
(2) Reduce the amount of carbohydrates and sugar in your diet: Did you know that your insulin levels also play a major role in hypertension.  Shocking, I know— But true! According to a study, insulin stores magnesium. But if your insulin receptors are not working properly and your cells are resistant to the insulin, then the insulin cannot store the magnesium.  When this happens, the magnesium actually passes from your body— leaving you deficient. This is why we often see hypertension and diabetes together-usually if you have one of these chronic illnesses, you will eventually get the other.  So, it’s important that you reduce your carbs-including whole grains, because they become sugar when metabolized and can lead to insulin resistance. Our bodies are truly miraculous machines, and like our cars, must be fed properly for optimal performance. Incorporating these simple tips daily just might reveal the root cause of why you or someone you know are apart of the one out of three Americans that are suffering from hypertension.

Selling of handout in Nigerian Universities not our Making says ASUU

The Academic Staff Union of Universities in Nigeria (ASUU) has expressed displeasure at the mandatory sale of handouts by some lecturers in tertiary institutions. Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, President of the union, expressed this view in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja. “It is not wise for lecturers in our tertiary institutions to compel students to be buying handouts, though it is not a widespread practice; we have few people that are misbehaving. “But the system has a way of handling them, so anywhere they see them they always put them on check. “It is not permitted in the system and there is a structure for tracking and dealing with that so ASUU as a union don’t condone it and we discourage it anywhere and everywhere we go,’’ he said. However, a cross section of Nigerian students had decried the rate at which some lecturers extort money from them in the name of selling of handouts. Speaking in separate interviews with NAN, students lamen...
