UNN 2nd Semester Course Registration Details – 2016/17

University of Nigeria, Nsukka, UNN course registration closing date and penalty for the second semester,  2016/2017 academic session.

 This is to inform all the undergraduate students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN)  that online course registration for the  second semester, 2016/2017 academic session has commenced.
The portal will be opened for Course Registration as follows:

Opening Date: 10th April, 2017.
Closing Date: 24th April, 2017.
Late Course Registration which attracts a penalty of N500 begins on 25th April, 2017 and Closes on 8th May, 2017.
Any student who fails to register within this time frame is deemed to have forfeited this semester.
The Registrar will not condone any letter seeking for permission to register courses after this stipulated deadline.

JAMB candidates get examination centres

Candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) have confirmed receiving their examination centres as promised by JAMB.Some candidates, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Thursday, said that they have startedgetting their centres from Wednesday.However, a few others told NAN that they were yet to get their centres.NAN reports that the JAMB Registrar had promised that all candidates would receive their centres before Saturday.In a related development, Mr Ikeh Callistus, ICT, Lab Manager, Christ the King College, (CKC) Gwagwalada said the centre was ready for the UTME which would commence on Saturday, May 13, 2017.Callistus said the college had 278 computer systems but only 250 would be used for the examination per batch while 28 systems would be kept in case of any unforeseen circumstances.Similarly, at the Digital Bridge Centre andthe Global Distance Learning Institute the stories were the same; the centres would also use 250 computer s...
