HOW TO MAKE 270 AND ABOVE IN JAMB

Most times people limit them selves on how far they can go in life, many JAMB candidates believe its difficult to make a high score in JAMB, take it from me that is a fat lie, JAMB happens to be the easiest exam body here in Nigeria.

It is easy to pass JAMB and equally easy to fail JAMB the choice lies in the hands of each candidate, the story of a boy who wanted to test an old man in his community by catching a fly and ask the old man if the fly is alive or dead such that if the old man says the fly is dead he will let the fly go but if the old man say the fly is alive he will crush the fly but as wise as the old was he replied him "son the fly is in your hands what ever you wish to do with the fly do it" so also is your success, you success is in your hand what so ever you want to do with it do it, you can bring it forth and you can destroy it.

Many will be taking JAMB for the first time, many will only be retaking it for God knows how many times now, well many have been into JAMB not because they have not been making high marks but as we all know JAMB is only the second step out of the many steps involved in admission process in Nigeria due to less institutions and space to accommodate all those applying for admission
[my next post will be on how to by pass all this steps and find your way into the university so keep on checking my blog]

Below are some of the things to do in order to score upto 270 in JAMB
NB: this are from experience

1. YOUR STUDY LIFE: how do you study?
Are you one of those do not want to work but expect success? many student do not like studying their books but would expect A's in their result my dear that is a fat delusion, there is no success with out hard work, you can not just seat in house and expect manners to fall from above it think the last time such thing happened was when Moses was leading the children Israel out of the land of Egypt so my dear after then there has not been any record of such event any were, i put it to you there is no success without hard work. [pick up your book and study what is inside]

1.1. how do you study: are you among those that read their textbooks like a novel?
many read their textbooks like novel like bla bla bla and they close it and tell you they have finished reading it my dear you have not yet started any thing, you still have a long way to go.
Reading should be a conscious act carefully taken and digested.

1.2. step to effective studies:
(a) discover the most suitable time and place
(b) note the book your heat hunger for that day
(c) take a topic at a time{before reading that topic flip through it check the subtopics you have, page             number, if there are images/drawings just look at them and pass.
(d) if the topic has objective read them it helps you to note what you are expected to know after                 reading the topic
(e) take notes of striking points and pen them down in a different book
(f) after reading every thing go through the things you noted
(g) set up questions on what you have read and answer them
(i) take a break after then recap what you noted and end your reading for that day
(j) when ever you get bored stop reading.
i do recommend 8hrs reading at least  4 days a week
Many people fined it difficult to seat one place for long if you are among such persons just note that the number of hrs you read in a day most not be at a go if you chose 8hrs then you can still take it 4hrs separately
NB: memorize after studying

2.0 Fined a study partner just as many are busy with life partner get busy with your study partner it could be male or female it does not really matter, what matters is you get to achieve positive result,
it still can be an online friend yes an online friend, social media shouldn't be used for love and sex chat alone one can actually make some thing meaningful out of social media.
one may ask how, you can have a friend whom both of you will pick out topics to read during the week after then maybe during week end come online and ask your selves questions on those topics make sure you are answering with out a textbook do not bother if he/she is using a textbook your aim is to get perfect. Same can be done with a friend you know in person

2. THE FRIENDS YOU KEEP:
The kind of friends you keep also matters hence the saying show me your friends and i will tell you whom you are, make friends with serious persons and not the i don't care type of persons, friends say much about you. Make friends with people whom can put you through were you are not clear and people whom you can put through were they are not clear, spend lesser time on useless discussions, useless outing.
quit watching pornography and quit masturbating they affect your brain, they make you forget things easily. quit friends that makes you spend an evening but go with friends that make you invest an evening.

3. YOUR SOCIAL LIFE:
social life is very important in learning, involve your self in one or two games that catch your interest but remember do not spend all your time on it, watch interesting movies when necessarily
visit any body around you whom you know have achieved what you are pursuing ask question.

4. YOUR SELF:
Do you have the confidence? doubt kills more dreams than bad friends will, do not limit your effort you can make it. think it, plan it, work towards it and achieve it. what ever you can imagine you can achieve. every thing is possible go dear and get it self confident pays.
NB: there is a difference between pride and confident
remove pride from your self and wear humility, remember after pride comes failure, set your focus right.

5. GOD FACTOR:
What ever you doing in life put God first.
